Kona bikes have always been good to us. Many years ago, I had a chat with a scruffy looking bloke in a Vegas bowling alley - he was very interested in what I did for a living and seemed to have a genuine love for bikes and was pleased that should be having a good time at the bowling. A few days after our conversation I discovered that the sruffy old guy was actually Jake Heilbron, founder of Kona Bicycles - and the bowling tournament had been organised by him to raise funds for IMBA.
