Right - you know we do the Phil Wood super high quality replacement bearings for HTII bottom brackets? Well, the fact is that Shimano, bless their little cotton socks, have made LX and Hone BB's, different than XT, XTR and Dura Ace. This means that the Phil Wood bearings that do fit XT/XTR/Dura Ace, will not fit LX/Hone :-(
All is not lost however - we have an alternative bearing from Enduro, which will fit and offers better quality bearings and better sealing than the standard ones (sadly, not as good as Phil Wood) and does away with the plastic insert thingy.
So - now when any of your Hollowtech II or RaceFace X-Type BB's wear out, you don't have to be a wasteful eco-pirate and throw them away, you can send them to us and we'll press some lovely new bearings in and have you spinning along and feeling good.

Changes for '06 include a welcome return to the two peice lever clamp and the new super funky thread in barbs, that make shortening hoses a breeze.

We've just had a drop of the new Maverick ML7/5 frames in the Hard Anodised finish - they're gorgeous.
The bike is a combination of the rear end of the ML8 and the frontal style of the ML7. I rode one last year and was amazed how laterally stiff it felt. Best tracking bike I've ever ridden and that's a fact. We have matching Hard Ano DUC32's as well - so the whole package will look superb and ride just as good. We'll be putting a demo bike together as soon as possible.

Well we have the answer - Phil Wood have created a set of tools that we will use to remove your old low quality worn out bearings from either Shimano or RaceFace external BB's and pop in some of their very own high spec rollers.
Phil bearings are made to higher spec and closer ball and race tolerance with 100% fill of their own waterproof grease and they use seals found on the highest spec submersible pumps. These aren't just ordinary bearings - no siree.
