In a thinly disguised 'customer service' ploy, I recently delivered some
parts to the good people of Bike Verbier. In return for my couriering, Lucy, Phil and Rob kindly showed me some of the incredible riding they have on their doorstep. After wearing me out riding up and down mountains all day long, they then filled me full of the finest home-made grub and put me up in their superb chalet. If you were wondering where to go and who to stay with, for a great spell of riding this summer - you'd be hard pushed to find anywhere better than Verbier.
Just make sure you pack some clean underpants and strong brakes, It's damn steep I tell thee...

These are great - if you've got kids and are wondering how to tackle the first bike thing, then this is your answer. The Like a Bike is just that - they get the basics of balance and handling sorted, with no fuss, no tears and no pressure. Just leave one lying around and youngsters instinctively want to try it. Our youngest got on one when she was two - within six months she could happily ride a two wheeler - not a stabiliser in sight.
